My bottom eyelid has been twitchy all day and it's causing my left eye to be just a bit more watery and it's driving me bat wing crazy.

Does anyone remember the shoulder pad days? I think that fad would have been better suited for men because aren't they supposed to have big bulky shoulders? Aren't girls supposed to have delicate little shoulders?
Anyway, I remember the shoulder pad days (shudders) and I'm so glad that my parents were too poor to afford the fashion icon of the early 90's and just stuck with buying me regular clothing. Every now and then a cheap imposter brand would incorporate a little shoulder pad action into their garments and I was so thrilled to finally have something so fashion forward that I probably wore the said shirt as soon as it came out of the dryer. But here's the most hilarious part of the whole shoulder pad era, I was extremely short and puny. We are talking back in my early high school days when the shoulder pad thing was full swing I might have weighed 90 pounds but probably weighed somewhere in the mid 80's. I was nothing but skin and bones people. Which makes me think that it would be nice to eat my weight in junk food all day long and not gain an ounce. Yeah, the me now really hates the me then because I ate all kinds of junk and just didn't gain any weight. The point is, I bet I looked really funny wearing bulky (cheap) shoulder pads.

My Tue/Wed girl baby isn't here today and won't be here tomorrow because her parents are on vacation so I'm not getting paid for today because I don't have a baby today which kinda stinks but the amazing part was I got to go to Joey's school and have lunch with him and as an added bonus I got to stay with him during recess. When it was time for class to begin and I needed to leave he put out his bottom lip and looked so sad. It broke my heart that I just couldn't stay the rest of the day.

I'm debating on weather or not I should bring Isabella a doughnut tomorrow. She usually gets mad that I come to her school but gosh darn it I really love just going during lunch and seeing my sweet little angel with all of her friends.

I still have Post Traumatic Shoulder Pad Disorder left over from the 80s.
ReplyDeleteI miss the days of popping in at school and volunteering. Sometimes.
Kendall wears my shoulder pad outfits for various theme days at her high school. At least they're still good for something!
